Alpha has a fully equipped factory complex located within a 14 mile radius from the Port of Colombo. The factory buildings consist of three separate buildings having a total floor area of over 102,000 square feet / 9490 square meters. 5S practices have been fully implemented and the production floor arranged for semi assembly operations.
The machinery and equipment for manufacture of Safes and steel furniture products consists of hydraulic press brakes including a DNC Servo Hydraulic Press Brake, Shearing Machines, Mechanical Guillotines, Power Presses, Tube Cutters and Automatic Tube Benders. A stove enameling paint plant consisting of electrostatic spray guns, conveyor and stoving oven, together with a powder coating plant are available for finishing of these products.
The wood working machinery includes Homag CNC Beam Saw and a Homag CNC router, Panel Saw, Circular Saw, Automatic Edge Banding machine, and manually operated Edge bander etc., A Post Forming machine and a Hot Press as well as Painting Booths and Ovens are available for finishing.
